Alliance

Alliance Jiu-Jitsu was founded in 1993 in Brazil by Romero 'Jacaré' Cavalcanti alongside Fabio Gurgel, Alexandre Paiva, and Fernando Gurgel, making it one of the oldest and most decorated competitive BJJ teams in history. Alliance has produced world champions including Marcelo Garcia, Gabi Garcia, and Bernardo Faria, and has consistently ranked among the top teams at IBJJF Worlds for over three decades. The organization is anchored by Jacaré's Atlanta, Georgia base and Fabio Gurgel's São Paulo operation.
