Reviews
Ryoma not only teaches the physical aspects of Jui Jitsu. They also nourish the mental and ethical sides. Ryoma coaches meet students where they are and are skilled at adapting techniques when necessary. Their variety of class times make training available to all ages and skill levels. We are thrilled to have found Ryoma and look forward to many years of training for our family.
Ryoma is a safe environment for kids and adults to learn martial arts to help build confidence, learn self defense and make some new friends.
My son has been training at Ryoma for 7 months and the progress that I see in him is truly remarkable. The instructors are so patient with the younger students and work to include students of all ability levels. They also focus on a different positive character trait each month, such as respect, honesty, integrity, etc. I recommend Ryoma to everyone I know!
Ryoma provides a clean and most importantly safe place to train. I've been training here for two years originally just to lose weight. I accomplished that and gained a second family too. Everyone really is part of the family here and they're always open to new. They also understand that people train for different reasons. Some people are hyper competitive and want to compete while others just want to be active and learn a martial art for self defense. They get it.
Our 8 yr old son has been going here for a year and a half now and it has had an amazing impact on him. He is more confident and any shyness he ever had is gone. Plus he is learning to defend himself! He is more independent in his personal life and helpful at home. All of the instructors are super positive and respectful. My sons Little Grapplers instructor Brent has more patience and understanding than most have with a group of little kids but he also doesn't tolerate disruptive children who hinder everyone elses learning which is something we really appreciate. Ryoma is a positive influence for kids and adults alike.
