At Olsen Behring Vale Tudo and MMA in Hamilton, Montana, we offer world-class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction under the Sylvio Behring Association — one of the most respected BJJ lineages in the world with over 50 years of history, 200+ black belts, and a presence on four continents.

Head instructor Professor Brandon Olsen is a 4th Degree Black Belt, 5-time Grapplers Quest Submission Wrestling National Champion, 3-time Open Weight Runner-up, and multiple IBJJF podium finisher. He grew up wrestling in Western Montana and has since produced three black belts of his own right here in the Bitterroot Valley.

We offer kids classes (ages 3-5, 6-8, and 9+), adult BJJ five evenings per week, and private lessons. New members receive a free intro private lesson with a ranked instructor. Based in Hamilton, we serve the entire Bitterroot Valley with elite-level instruction in a warm, community-driven environment.

If you are in the Bitterroot, you are missing a great opportunity to train with one of the best! The professor is very family friendly and does an amazing job working with all sorts of ages, skills and circumstances. He handles kids really well! This is seriously the best thing I have ever done for myself. It's hard to start something new, but here it is easy. Don't be afraid, go check it out! What else are you doing in the valley today?

Professor Olsen is the real deal. He teaches a broad variety of martial arts skills with an extremely high level of knowledge. He is extremely talented at teaching kids AND adults. He not only teaches, he can do what he teaches. That is a rare combination in an instructor. His rates are reasonable and his schedule works well with any family lifestyle.

Me and my family have had the privilege of receiving 5 years of world class training from professor Brandon Olsen. His kids classes are nothing short of amazing. Adult classes are the same. The gym has a "no ego" atmosphere where we want to help our teammates grow , making it very welcoming to new members. this place has been one of the best things to happen to my family

My son trained with professor Olsen for several years, I cannot say enough about the instruction he received, not only did he learn Jujitsu, but he learned team work and self discipline. My son went from being a hard to handle hot headed kid to becoming a level headed champion. Brandon took the team to Las Vegas to compete in the World Series of Grappling and not only dud my son bring home a gold and Bronze but the entire team brought home hardware and consistently does at all levels. We have since moved from the Bitterroot Valley and I can tell you Olsen Behring Vale Tudo cannot be matched for level of instruction and value nationwide!!!
