Reviews
Came into town for winter break from Houston and had the chance to drop in for about two weeks. The atmosphere is amazing and the instruction is top notch. The mats are always clean and the gym is very well run. The kids’ classes were awesome to watch as well—great structure and energy. I trained with Professor Tommy back in 2020, so I wasn’t surprised to see the gym thriving the way it is now. Really grateful I got the chance to train here again.
Devon is an incredible Jiu Jitsu coach! His knowledge, patience, and passion for the sport really shine through in every class. Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to refine advanced techniques, Devon meets you where you’re at and pushes you to improve. His teaching style is clear, hands-on, and motivating. The environment he creates is both respectful and challenging — the perfect balance for growth. My son started when he was 3 and danced before every practice, and now he’s 6 and can probably take on a 12 year old. Thanks for everything.
My kiddo has been going here for about 5 months. Absolutely love it and the coaches here are great. I’ve seen a lot of growth in my son since he first started and the classes are great when it comes to teaching your kid to lose graciously. It’s very structured with warm ups, the lesson and some sparring, and then their game at the very end. The best thing about this place is that all of the kids are sweethearts here. They all help each other out and try their best not to hurt one another.
I love this gym. I’ve attended classes with Professor Tommy, Devin and Rick. All of them are great at explaining and teaching the class. The lesson plans are very organized and well thought out throughout the week. They build on each other which makes it easy to learn. This is a great gym to be apart of to learn a vital skill and meet great folks.
If you’re in the area check this gym out! They allow you to test your grappling skills. The partners I rolled with were very strong with frames and had a good foundation. The temperament of my partners was controlled and with a purpose. As a very flexible 10th Planet athlete they were more concerned for my safety than I was in situations. I know my limitations though and they let the rolling proceed. I’ve been training 4 years.
