DO I NEED EXPERIENCE TO START TRAINING BJJ?
Not at all. West Iowa Martial Arts welcomes complete beginners. Our classes bring new students up to speed safely and progressively. Every black belt on our mat started exactly where you are now — with zero experience.
WHAT PROGRAMS DO YOU OFFER?

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?
For your first visit, comfortable athletic clothing works perfectly — gym shorts and a t-shirt are fine. Once you commit to training, we will help you choose the right gi (the traditional BJJ uniform). We can point you toward quality options at reasonable prices.
