We came here for the trial sessions with all three of our kids. They absolutely loved it. It is a locally owned place with incredible guest service and instructors. We will move forward with the annual membership when they grow up a bit, when can commit to it and make it work around our schedules.

THB and Miss Irene are the best. All the way from counseling us on which classes would be best for our family situation to the environment and instruction. Very welcoming to students with no experience. They break it down as slow as you need and give great feedback. As a woman, I am particularly a fan of their Mastermind class as this teaches me how apply self defense techniques in real life situations. I’ve only been in the class about a month but I feel like I’ve learned a lot already. I only wish we would have found this place sooner.

Absolutely one of the best kickboxing training centers out there! From the moment you step in, you feel the energy — not from flashy ads but from real passion and professionalism. The coaches here are not only super cool and incredibly friendly, but they genuinely care about your progress. You’re not just a number — they take time to guide and push you to your best, no matter your level. Unlike many commercial clubs, this place is about real training, not just memberships. And what I really appreciated was how transparent and welcoming they are — even just browsing their website, you can already see exactly who you’re going to meet and train with. Highly recommend if you’re looking for serious training in a supportive, respectful, and motivating environment!

Absolutely amazing programs. The level of experience from the professors is incredible, and they teach in such a humble manner that creates and fosters an environment of confidence. Our entire family is enrolled, and we all love it. Great for adults and children of all ages. Would definitely recommend to all parents. The amount of growth we have seen together as a family is unbelievable! Thank you to the Hill bros and family for creating such a great martial arts community in Plainfield!

My daughter has been in the jujitsu class for a little over 2 months and I already see she has more confidence and assertiveness in her everyday intentions. I really like that Professor Hill is very gentle with his pupils and is very aware of their energy. I find myself at peace observing their training, that is, when I'm not chatting it up with Irene in the office. 😁 Suda is a wonderful place that my family was blessed to find. I recommend them to many friends and family, and really anyone interested in investing into themselves or a loved one.

Frequently Asked Questions

IS THERE A FREE TRIAL CLASS?

Absolutely. We invite all prospective students to try their first class free at SUDA International Training Center. It's the best way to experience our training environment, meet our coaches, and see if BJJ is right for you. No experience or equipment needed — comfortable athletic clothing is fine.

DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE TO START?

No experience necessary! SUDA International Training Center welcomes complete beginners. Our instructors break down every technique step by step, and our community is known for being welcoming and patient with new students. Everyone starts as a white belt, and that's exactly where you should start too.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?

For your first visit, comfortable athletic clothing works perfectly — a t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants. Once you commit to training regularly, you'll want to invest in a gi (kimono). Our coaches can recommend quality options at a range of price points.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TRAIN?

Most students at SUDA International Training Center train 2 to 3 times per week and see consistent progress. Showing up regularly matters far more than training intensely once in a while. We offer multiple class times throughout the week so you can find a schedule that fits your life.

DO YOU OFFER CLASSES FOR KIDS?

Yes! We offer dedicated programs for children and teens at SUDA International Training Center. Our youth classes focus on discipline, respect, confidence-building, and the fundamentals of BJJ in a safe, fun environment.
