I joined Roma in 2020, came from another gym and had been out of training for a couple of years, but the staff and training partners here took me in with open arms and made me feel like apart of the family. Great techniques & high level details are poured in to every class whether you're in the adults or kids program. Great family environment, competition team and a GREAT kids program. 5 years later I’m still here and don’t plan on leaving, highly recommended!

First of all Jamie and Kawika are awesome! So are the other coaches. My son and daughter absolutely love it here. The place is very clean and has a great environment. I was referred by a friend, who had only good things to say about this place and she was totally right! I would highly recommend Roma if you or your kids want to start Jiu Jitsu!

DO I NEED EXPERIENCE TO START?

No prior experience needed. We love working with beginners and have a structured program to get you started.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?

Comfortable athletic wear is fine for your first visit. Regular students train in a gi (kimono) or no-gi attire.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TRAIN?

Two to three times per week is a great starting point. Consistent practice is the most important factor in BJJ improvement.

DO YOU OFFER YOUTH PROGRAMS?

Roma Jiu Jitsu Academy offers BJJ classes for children that build character, discipline, and practical self-defense skills in a fun atmosphere.
