This place is amazing! PJ is easy going and very accommodating. With more kids classes than anyone else around! A possible 4 a week. I noticed a positive change in my 9-year-old daughter right away. Off the highway, next to the lake and restaurants. Nothing prepares your kid for the world like BJJ. Do hard things. Don't wait.
The best way to describe this gym is just pure class. PJ is a gem of a human, and his personality has clearly carried into the entire community. Was lucky enough to drop in for an open mat and was met with nothing but smiles and good times. Big clean space, and showers in the bathrooms were also a great touch. If you're in area, hell if you're even close to the area, you should pop in and I'm sure you'll have a great time.
I was visiting the town on my business trip. Reached out for a drop in class, got a really fast & welcoming response from PJ. Signed pretty quick once there. The class was great! Lots of students but not crowded as the mat area was quite large. Great drills, conditional and regular sparrings! Would love to come back!
I just visited for the second time. The first time was for a seminar and this time was just to train. I've been doing Jiu-Jitsu for 16 years and have trained at all kinds of gyms, Renzo's in Anderson is a great gym. PJ was super inviting and I knew before I got there that his guys would be the same. I was right. Tough rounds, friendly people, comfortable mats and clean bathrooms. They have something special going on in that room. Can't wait to go back.
Amazing atmosphere. In SC from NY visiting for the weekend and I went to open mat. The owner PJ is the nicest guy ever and the other gym members has great vibes. Awesome place to stop in and roll. Very clean and beautiful showers.
