It’s only my second day, and I already love it! First off, Rob—the owner—is an amazing guy. Super friendly and makes sure everyone is treated like family. Second, the coaches are great at holding you accountable during classes, which really keeps you on track. And I absolutely love how authentic the place feels. Can’t wait to keep coming back!

Top-Notch Boxing Training! Pilger’s Old Skool Boxing Gym has been a game changer for me! The coaches are passionate and focused on helping you improve. The workouts are tough but effective, and the environment is positive and motivating. My boxing skills have improved drastically—highly recommend this gym to anyone serious about their training!

I’ve been here at Robs for 3+ years. He’s a great dude and has an amazing gym. If you want to learn fundamentals of boxing or even learn the sport this is the place to start. Don’t think twice !

Man this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. An non-judgemental old school rugged boxing gym, with poster, medals, trophies ......all things boxing, a weight room designed for combat athletes! My first visit today and I am very grateful!

Alright, so hear me out. First and foremost, I have dwarfism which obviously makes me a lot shorter than the rest of the members here. I have always endured ignorance. I have been a member of this gym for six months, and not one person has ever ostracized me or looked at me as my disability. I have never experienced this not once in any other gym, clearly emphasizing how inclusive Pilger's is and how much of a family vibe it provides. Secondly, each trainer will make you work your ass off. The classes are intense, but you are not forced to break your body. If you haven't worked out in years, you can take it slow. Lastly, it teaches you discipline. You will feel positively humbled. Your health will improve substantially. Shoutout to Gary, Corey, Cisco, Terrance, and the owner Rob for putting five more role models into my life. I still can't thank them enough for what this gym has done for me. Frequently Asked Questions

IS THERE A FREE TRIAL CLASS?

Absolutely. We invite all prospective students to try their first class free at Pilger's Old Skool Boxing & Fitness Academy. It's the best way to experience our training environment, meet our coaches, and see if BJJ is right for you. No experience or equipment needed — comfortable athletic clothing is fine.

DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE TO START?

No experience necessary! Pilger's Old Skool Boxing & Fitness Academy welcomes complete beginners. Our instructors break down every technique step by step, and our community is known for being welcoming and patient with new students. Everyone starts as a white belt, and that's exactly where you should start too.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?

For your first visit, comfortable athletic clothing works perfectly — a t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants. Once you commit to training regularly, you'll want to invest in a gi (kimono). Our coaches can recommend quality options at a range of price points.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TRAIN?

Most students at Pilger's Old Skool Boxing & Fitness Academy train 2 to 3 times per week and see consistent progress. Showing up regularly matters far more than training intensely once in a while. We offer multiple class times throughout the week so you can find a schedule that fits your life.

DO YOU OFFER CLASSES FOR KIDS?

Yes! We offer dedicated programs for children and teens at Pilger's Old Skool Boxing & Fitness Academy. Our youth classes focus on discipline, respect, confidence-building, and the fundamentals of BJJ in a safe, fun environment.
