This place is the Mecca for all things Bang Muay Thai. Having trained at one of the BMT affiliates in LA, it was nice to actually visit HQ. Sensei Duane and all of the instructors and staff are top notch. The curriculum is the most comprehensive striking system out there today. The gym environment is very friendly, everyone from the students to the instructors, they’re all willing to help you improve, whether you’re a beginner or more advanced, they got you covered. If you want to learn from one of the best in the game, look no further!

World class instruction! Sensei Duane really took the time to make sure we got the technique down. He went above and beyond. We had an amazing experience! We drove 15 hours from Idaho to take his class. It was well worth it

I decided to join Ludwig Martial Arts after reading the positive reviews about their coaching. I’ve been training in Bang Muay Thai for the past two months and it has been an incredible experience. What stands out most is Sensei Ludwig’s personality, energy, and genuine love for teaching his system. The gym has a supportive training community where partners truly want to help you develop and learn, and the repetition of drills has helped me progress quickly. While it may feel a bit overwhelming at first if you’re not familiar with the terms or movements, I believe all levels can benefit from training here. It has been a pleasure to train under Sensei Ludwig, and anyone looking to grow both physically and mentally should give this dojo a try.

I can’t say enough great things about this Ludwig Muay Thai gym. From day one, I felt welcomed and motivated to improve. The atmosphere is positive, respectful, and focused — whether you’re a beginner or experienced, everyone is pushed to grow at their own pace. The sensei is outstanding — knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about teaching. They break techniques down clearly, pay attention to form, and make sure everyone trains safely while still challenging us to be better each session. You can tell they care about their students and the art itself. If you’re looking for a place to build skill, confidence, and discipline while being part of a supportive community, I highly recommend this gym.

Frequently Asked Questions

IS THERE A FREE TRIAL CLASS?

Absolutely. We invite all prospective students to try their first class free at Ludwig Martial Arts / BANG Muay Thai. DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE TO START?

No experience necessary! Ludwig Martial Arts / BANG Muay Thai welcomes complete beginners. Our instructors break down every technique step by step, and our community is known for being welcoming and patient with new students.
