Inner Game Jiu-Jitsu has been a meaningful experience for our family. Coach Robbie creates an environment that balances discipline with encouragement, and he holds his students to a high standard while still being supportive. Our son gained foundational skills, confidence, and exposure to the structure that martial arts provides. The culture of the gym emphasizes respect and personal growth, which we deeply value. We’re grateful for the time spent there and would recommend Inner Game to families looking for a focused and character-driven training environment.

As a 49 year old who has had 2 back surgeries I was reluctant to join because I was not sure how my body would react to the physical aspect of training. I spoke to Coach Robbie and he and my team respect my limitations..It has been an all around great experience for me. Coach Robbie is a great motivator. Although I am a competitive person by nature, my goal is to improve my physical health and he understands this . He also offers strength and cardio workouts which I take advantage of. Within the four months I have been trained I have seen a significant difference in my cardio , endurance, strength and overall health. To my surprise, I have seen a reduction in the pain I have been living with rather than the increase in pain I was expecting. I can not thank Coach Robbie and the great team we have at the gym enough. It is very hard to stay motivated and consistent when you train alone as I have tried in the past. When you have a team and Coach to keep you motivated and accountable it is much easier and fun to stay consistent. Although it is hard work , it is very rewarding. Coach Robbie brings a no nonsense training style which I see works great for teaching respect and discipline to our youth and adult classes. I highly recommend Coach Robbie.

My 4 year old daughter LOVES going to class and Coach Robbie! After every class, she tells me she wishes she could stay longer. We were excited to learn that you can start Inner Game at 4 years old because other gyms don’t start that young and it’s a great way to teach her self defense at a very young age. Classes aren’t mandatory so you attend at your convenience which is great if your kids are involved in other sports. There’s even a workout room available for parents while your child’s in class. I highly recommend signing your kids up!

I can’t say enough about the multitude of benefits that Inner Game Jui-Jitsu is providing for my 5 and 8 year old boys. We initially signed them up to decrease screen time and increase their activity level. In just a couple of months, my boys are more confident, physically fit, more disciplined and respectful to their peers. But the best and hardest lesson that I have witnessed them learn is how to handle a loss, get back up and try again. Coach Robbie also does a good job of making the sport engaging and fun for the kids. I highly recommend signing you or your kid up today.

I recommend this gym to anyone looking to dive into or compete in Jiu Jitsu, looking to improve their fitness, or trying to learn self defense. Go check it out.
