Reviews
I took advantage of their 10 day free trial. In that trial I participated in both their Bang MT and intro jj class. I like how engaged the instructors are and the friendly atmosphere. The facility is very clean with large spaced separate Men’s and Women’s changing/shower rooms. They offer both GI and non GI classes which is an A+ in my book. A great deal under one roof!
On day one, my two children were placed in Junior Grapplers, and I was very impressed with both the training and the instructor. The instruction was clear, purposeful, and age-appropriate. There was appropriate support in place, providing extra supervision for the students. A great deal of information was covered in just one class, and everything was conducted in a respectful, professional, and clean environment. I also appreciated that parents were welcome to sit and observe. Overall, it was a great first experience, and my children had so much fun.
If you are looking for more than just a martial arts class, look no further than Gracie Jiu Jitsu Post Falls. Our three children attended this school for 18 months, and the impact it had on their confidence and discipline is nothing short of spectacular. They progressed through the Bullyproof program, which is masterfully designed. It doesn't just teach kids how to grapple; it teaches them awareness, resilience, and the self-assurance to handle difficult situations with grace. Watching our kids advance through the levels was a highlight for our family, and the technical growth they showed in such a short time was impressive. The real heart of this school, however, is the people. Hernando, Amanda, and Isaac are exceptional. They lead with a perfect balance of firm instruction and genuine care. They don't just know your name; they invest in your child’s character. It’s rare to find owners and staff so dedicated to the community and the personal development of every student who walks onto the mats. While we’ve had to temporarily step away for other reasons, we cannot recommend this place enough. We truly loved our time here, we love the staff, and we are already looking forward to the day we can get our kids back on the mats with this incredible team. If you’re on the fence about where to take your children—this is the place. Five stars isn't enough!
My daughter (4) and I have done 2 trial classes together and Gracie has done a great job at making her feel comfortable trying something new while also being firm in practice. I am confident this will be a great experience for her (and me!). I can’t wait to see all the valuable skills she will learn and carry with her later in life. Staff and front desk are also very friendly and helpful!
We brought our 7-year-old son here and had such an amazing experience. We first tried the 5–7 age group, and Amanda has been an incredible teacher—so kind, patient, and great with the kids. We also tried the 7–10 class on Wednesday (with Isaac, I think), and he was absolutely the best. He was so engaging with the kids and incredibly patient, making the class both fun and productive. We truly loved this place and are so grateful for such a positive experience. Thank you for creating such a great environment—we can’t wait to see our son continue to grow and improve here!
