Stopped by here for a Saturday noon class while here for Parents Weekend for my college kids. The entire group was very welcoming. The instructor was knowledgeable and gave great demonstrations of the techniques he was teaching that day. I highly recommend Gracie Barra Boston if you're in the area.
I had a trial lesson a few months ago, and I would like to say that Professor Luis is a very good professional and treated me very well. I highly recommend the school.
A great place to train! We were visiting from West Palm Beach and brought my son’s gear (he trains at Gracie Barra Jupiter) in hopes to get a training session in. We were welcomed by a great group of guys and immediately felt like family. Although it was an adult class, they worked in my 10 yr old son. He loved the class and can’t wait to go back! Thanks to Professor and all the students for making this experience a great one!
Amazing first class! My friend convinced me to go and I was nervous at first but everyone there is definitely just trying to help and take things slow and make sure you’re comfortable with all the positions and movements.
I visited this gym from out of state. They were not only highly skilled, but they could not have been more welcoming to an outsider. That is the high caliber of gym you can always expect from a Gracie Barra. If you are visiting Boston or looking for a home gym. Look no further than this place. They are legit and sweethearts to boot.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?
For your first visit, comfortable athletic wear such as shorts and a rash guard works perfectly. Once you train regularly, you'll want a gi (BJJ uniform). We train gi here — our coaches can point you toward the right gear.
