Fast greens and some tough pin placements made for a challenging round, but I had the pleasure of golfing with a gentleman who knows the course well, which made a big difference. There are definitely a few birdie holes be sure to take advantage of them when you can. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will absolutely play this course again on my next trip.

Played here for the first time in December. Definitely challenging, especially for someone who's a beginner. E hours the course, the folks at the clubhouse were super friendly and, unlike many reviewers, did not have any issues with the marshals.

I've never played there. I really enjoyed the track. Ill play there again. We used the driving range and the putting green and both were in good shape, for this time of year. Also, the course was cart path only. It looks to be walker friendly and many were out walking the course. The couple we played with got breakfast burritos at the turn that they enjoyed. And the staff at check in were very friendly. We had a great day for playing on December 12th in Colorado. YAY!

I’ve really enjoyed my rounds out here. Really hard to beat a course of this quality and aesthetics for the price. Any complaints don’t come from real golfers or come from people who are only used to non-public courses. For a course open to the public, it really doesn’t get any better than this. Denver golf at it’s finest especially if you enjoy a hilly walk.

Frequently Asked Questions

IS THERE A FREE TRIAL CLASS?

Absolutely. We invite all prospective students to try their first class free at GB Saddle Rock. It's the best way to experience our training environment, meet our coaches, and see if BJJ is right for you. No experience or equipment needed — comfortable athletic clothing is fine.

DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE TO START?

No experience necessary! GB Saddle Rock welcomes complete beginners. Our instructors break down every technique step by step, and our community is known for being welcoming and patient with new students. Everyone starts as a white belt, and that's exactly where you should start too.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?

For your first visit, comfortable athletic clothing works perfectly — a t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants. Once you commit to training regularly, you'll want to invest in a gi (kimono). Our coaches can recommend quality options at a range of price points.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TRAIN?

Most students at GB Saddle Rock train 2 to 3 times per week and see consistent progress. Showing up regularly matters far more than training intensely once in a while. We offer multiple class times throughout the week so you can find a schedule that fits your life.

DO YOU OFFER CLASSES FOR KIDS?

Yes! We offer dedicated programs for children and teens at GB Saddle Rock. Our youth classes focus on discipline, respect, confidence-building, and the fundamentals of BJJ in a safe, fun environment.
