This is an Elite coaching staff. Feeling blessed to have my 10-year-old daughter here. What a change in just six months, strength and mind. If you live in Saint Charles County, whether you want to break a sweat and learn some basic jiu-jitsu moves or take it to another level, “the competition team”. Where I’ve seen 13-year-old girls put in a mouthpiece and straight Bring It!! Don’t cheat yourself……This is the place!

Gracie Barra O’Fallon has made a remarkable difference in my 7-year-old daughter’s confidence. She looks forward to every class and would attend daily if she could! The sessions are energetic and engaging rather than exhausting, and they’ve strengthened both her self-confidence and practical skills. A wonderful program that empowers young girls in a meaningful way.

I can’t say enough good things about Gracie Barra O’Fallon. From day one, the environment has been welcoming, professional, and motivating. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping every student improve — whether you’re brand new or have experience. The structure of the classes makes it easy to learn proper technique while still getting a great workout. Every session challenges you physically and mentally in the best way. What really stands out is the culture. The team atmosphere is strong, respectful, and supportive. Everyone pushes each other to get better while keeping safety and learning as the priority. It’s a place where discipline, confidence, and resilience are built both on and off the mats. If you’re considering Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in the O’Fallon area, this is absolutely the place to train. Highly recommend to adults and kids alike.

My son Brodey has always wanted to do some BJJ/MMA but never could make it work due to his busy wrestling and baseball schedule in the evenings most nights. Well, recently he started homeschooling and Gracie Barra offered a homeschool class during the day that he can now attend. He has been attending now for a few weeks and absolutely loves it. He has even started going to some of the evening BJJ & MMA classes on Fridays and Saturday mornings as well as the Mon, Wed, & Friday homeschool classes and he's really enjoying it. He's excited to hopefully get his first stripe on his belt in November and is planning to do his first competition on November 15th also so that should be fun. Thanks to everyone at Gracie Barra for making him feel welcome!

I've been part of this gym since 2018 after putting my kids in classes there. My, now 17 year old daughter, went from hardly being able to walk and chew gum, to a very capable young woman who can handle anything life throws at her. I have 4 of my 6 kids training here and I am now 8 years in myself. As an adult, the relationships I've built with my training partners and the environment the instructors provide is just not something you can find many places.

Frequently Asked Questions

IS THERE A FREE TRIAL CLASS?

Absolutely. We invite all prospective students to try their first class free at GB O’Fallon. It's the best way to experience our training environment, meet our coaches, and see if BJJ is right for you. No experience or equipment needed — comfortable athletic clothing is fine.

DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE TO START?

No experience necessary! GB O’Fallon welcomes complete beginners. Our instructors break down every technique step by step, and our community is known for being welcoming and patient with new students. Everyone starts as a white belt, and that's exactly where you should start too.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?

For your first visit, comfortable athletic clothing works perfectly — a t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants. Once you commit to training regularly, you'll want to invest in a gi (kimono). Our coaches can recommend quality options at a range of price points.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TRAIN?

Most students at GB O’Fallon train 2 to 3 times per week and see consistent progress. Showing up regularly matters far more than training intensely once in a while. We offer multiple class times throughout the week so you can find a schedule that fits your life.

DO YOU OFFER CLASSES FOR KIDS?

Yes! We offer dedicated programs for children and teens at GB O’Fallon. Our youth classes focus on discipline, respect, confidence-building, and the fundamentals of BJJ in a safe, fun environment.
