Reviews
My experience at Gracie Barra East Naperville has been wonderful. Coach Andrew and his team are amazing coaches/instructors. They do a fantastic job breaking down all of the techniques to make it possible for even the novice like myself to understand and perform them correctly. He has also created a welcoming environment for new students and a kinda brotherhood between everyone that makes it fun, safe and rewarding for everyone who trains there. I can't imagine there could possibly be a better place to train bjj. I look forward to class everyday and fell so lucky that I found this Gracie Barra school.
I have been attending Gracie Barra for 4 months now and my experience has been absolutely fascinating. The instructors (both professors and coaches) are very patient, approachable, and are there to help you; facilities (both in East Naperville and Downers Grove) are very clean and well maintained; there is a great sense of camaraderie among students, who are all there to help one another improve; schedules are very flexible as well - you can come in as many times as you want. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to have a great experience whether it is simply getting in shape or training to participate in competitions!
GB East Naperville is an excellent school to train at. Since I started jiu jitsu last year I’ve split time between Downers Grove and East Naperville and the quality of training has always been very high. All the coaches and instructors are highly knowledgeable on the self-defense and sport aspects of BJJ and I always have great training partners. Jiu Jitsu has definitely changed my life for the better and I’ll probably be training for the rest of my life. Looking forward to continuing to grow and improve with Gracie Barra in the future!
My son and I have been going for BJJ classes the past month, and the instruction is excellent! They offer classes for 3-6 y/o, 7-16, and adults. There are girls and boys in the classes, and Coach Andrew is amazing at maintaining discipline while still making class fun for the kids. Program is excellent for self-defense, self-confidence, fitness, flexibility, and competition for all ages. There is also a family class on Saturdays where parents can train with their kids. Great instructors are not easy to find, and our family is very fortunate that Coach Andrew and this Gracie Barra facility opened so close to us!
Gracie Barra East Naperville is an awesome facility. It is clean, welcoming, and a place where I can grow as an individual. The instructors are very knowledgeable. The classes are funny and challenging. However, what I like most about Gracie Barra East Naperville is the community you become a part of. This is my home away from home.
