⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fite Fit Jujitsu has been incredible for my son. The culture here is positive, disciplined, and supportive—exactly what you want in a place for kids to learn and grow. The coaches are amazing with the students, and the whole community has been so welcoming from day one. My son’s confidence and skills have come a long way. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a great environment and top-notch instruction!

We could not be happier with our experience in this kids jiu jitsu class. My 5-year-old son has grown tremendously in such a short period of time - not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. The coaching is truly exceptional. Coach Julien meets each child at their skill level and tailors their guidance so every student feels both supported and challenged. My son felt successful from day one, and you could see his confidence build week after week. What impressed me most was the emphasis on responsibility and respect. Coach Julien does an incredible job reinforcing discipline, listening skills, and teamwork in a way that really resonates with young kids. It’s not just about learning techniques - it’s about building character. If you’re considering jiu jitsu for your child, I can’t recommend this program enough. It has been such a positive, confidence-building experience for our family.

We love this gym! The coaches are amazing with kids—super patient, encouraging, and really know how to make learning jiu jitsu fun. My daughters always leave class with a smile on their face. Coach Jay always takes the time to work with each student to make sure they are getting the most out of class. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a great place for their kids to train!

Frequently Asked Questions

IS THERE A FREE TRIAL CLASS?

Absolutely. We invite all prospective students to try their first class free at Fortitude Jiu Jitsu. It's the best way to experience our training environment, meet our coaches, and see if BJJ is right for you. No experience or equipment needed — comfortable athletic clothing is fine.

DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE TO START?

No experience necessary! Fortitude Jiu Jitsu welcomes complete beginners. Our instructors break down every technique step by step, and our community is known for being welcoming and patient with new students. Everyone starts as a white belt, and that's exactly where you should start too.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST CLASS?

For your first visit, comfortable athletic clothing works perfectly — a t-shirt and shorts or athletic pants. Once you commit to training regularly, you'll want to invest in a gi (kimono). Our coaches can recommend quality options at a range of price points.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I TRAIN?

Most students at Fortitude Jiu Jitsu train 2 to 3 times per week and see consistent progress. Showing up regularly matters far more than training intensely once in a while. We offer multiple class times throughout the week so you can find a schedule that fits your life.

DO YOU OFFER CLASSES FOR KIDS?

Yes! We offer dedicated programs for children and teens at Fortitude Jiu Jitsu. Our youth classes focus on discipline, respect, confidence-building, and the fundamentals of BJJ in a safe, fun environment.
