My son have been coming to DSBJJ at the Somerset location for almost a year now. The class has been a truly wonderful experience for my four-year-old this past year. The instructors are incredibly patient and engaging, creating a fun and safe environment for the little ones. It's amazing to see how much confidence and coordination they've developed through the engaging drills and games. The focus on discipline and respect is subtly woven into every lesson, which is a valuable trait for such young children. We are so pleased with the progress and positive impact this program has had. We love the small class and the one on one time.

Cannot recommend this gym enough! I have been training here for 6+ months after transferring to the area for work. I feel extremely fortunate to have found this gym. Ever since day 1, there has been a positive and welcoming atmosphere by all coaches and members. It also is very clean, organized and well-maintained. Danny and the entire staff of coaches are phenomenal and they tailor their classes to all ages and skill levels. All of the members that train here have mutual respect for the gym and fellow teammates. Because of all of these factors, I have noticed my BJJ improve due to the high-caliber instructors and training partners. If you are thinking of trying BJJ for the first time- please do not feel intimidated and stop by for a trial class. This gym has no egos!

Our daughter started the tiny tots program shortly after she turned 3. This has been a great program for her to gain confidence! All of the instructors are welcoming, kind and make the class a safe space for all kids. We highly recommend!

My son started here a month ago and all staff have been really great with him. He was nervous to start but staff and kids made him feel comfortable to start a new jiujitsu journey. Would definitely recommend!!
