Always Forward Jiu-Jitsu Academy

I’m in Tucson for work. I showed up Monday with gi in hand ready to train. Aaron the owner and his students were inviting and great rolls. I had such a blast I came back today to get Some more training in. Thanks again guys and girls. Hope to see you in PCB.

Fantastic environment, disciplined and humble members and athletes and teachers who just want you to get better. Came for GI and no GI classes throughout a 3 day work trip and loved this gym. Would highly recommend it to anybody who is thinking about training or already does train.

Came to Sonoran for a few weeks while I visited family for the holidays while away from my home gym. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming! I learned a ton and will definitely be back!

Our family travels constantly, so trying to find a good place to keep up with our training can be a challenge. When we got to Tucson, we tried several places, but Sonoran stood out. The coaches made us feel welcome, and were always patient and clear with instructions. The other students were friendly, and there were no egos on the mat. The practice area is very large, which means your rolls rarely take you into a collision course with another pair. All this, combined with a very affordable rate, makes Sonoran the perfect place for all levels to come and train. Anytime we make our way back to Tucson, this will be our gym.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sonoran BJJ, and I have to say, it’s easily one of the best academy's I’ve trained at. The facility is spotless and well maintained, providing a comfortable environment for training. The staff and fellow practitioners are incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home even as a visitor. The instruction here is top tier. The coaches break down techniques in a way that’s clear and accessible, and they’re always available to offer valuable feedback. You can tell they truly care about the progress of their students, no matter your skill level. If you’re in the area or just visiting, Sonora BJJ is a must try. It’s rare to find a school that offers such a welcoming environment with world class instruction. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!
