Visited MCAS Yuma for the air show today. It made me proud to be an American patriot today. We were happy to see the new recruits parading on the tarmac and appreciate their willingness to join the marines to keep our freedom. We were awestruck by the F35 Warthog demonstration. American ingenuity really shines and makes America great. Thank you to all the service members at this base.

This year's Air Show was good; they're always free and the base is open to the public (to view the show on the flightline). But it seemed like there was double the people off-base who parked at optimal viewing spots. Not a bad idea, especially if one doesn't like crowds or traffic. Free on-site water stations and ATMS were more readily available.

Always so proud of our Marine Corps neighbors and when they demonstrate community pride with gifts like this static display of the historic AV-8B Harrier II aircraft as it passes from legendary warfighter aircraft to a legendary static display for the ages and the MCAS Yuma Main Entrance.

I an honorably discharged disabled vet US Coastguard. The folks here made it so easy for me to register access to the base and so helpful. The people at the exercise facility took thier time to show me all around. Get outstanding service at the commissary. Yeah made me feel good. Thank you.
