Cobrinha BJJ was founded in 2011 by Rubens Charles 'Cobrinha' Maciel, a five-time IBJJF World Champion and four-time ADCC champion widely regarded as one of the greatest featherweight competitors in history. Headquartered on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, Cobrinha's teaching reflects his competition pedigree — technically precise, guard-heavy jiu-jitsu with an emphasis on fluidity and timing. The organization includes affiliate schools across the U.S. and internationally.
